それでは、「ホテリアー」のあらすじを紹介します。 舞台は、経営難に陥っている、超一流ホテルの「ソウルホテル」です。 顧客担当支配人のソ・ジニョン（ソン・ユンア）は、買収を企む者からホテルを救うために、ソウルホテルで以前働いていた、ハン・テジュン（キム・スンウ）を呼び戻しに、ラスベガスまで行きます。 テジュンは、ジニョンの元恋人ですが、すっかり落ちぶれてしまっており、ジニョンにも冷たく当たりました。 そのことに、ショックを受けていたジニョンは、偶然、韓国系アメリカ人のシン・ドンヒョク（ペ・ヨンジュン）と出会います。 ドンヒョクは、自分の母国である韓国から来たジニョンに、徐々に関心を持つようになります。 彼女に惹かれていったドンヒョクは、ソウルホテルに滞在することになります。 ところが、ドンヒョクこそが、実業家のキム会長から、ソウルホテルを買収するという依頼を受けた、企業ハンターであったのです。 ジニョンは、元恋人のテジュンと、正面から自分に向かってきてくれるドンヒョクの間で、心が揺れ動きます。 しかし、ジニョンは、自分の働いているホテルを買収する目的で、ドンヒョクが来たことを知りません・・・。
韓国ドラマ「ホテリアー」は、2007年4月に、日本でもテレビ朝日がリメイクし、放送されました。 日本版でもペ・ヨンジュンが特別出演として、オリジナルと同じ、シン・ドンヒョク役で出演しました。設定は、数年後ということで、オリジナルに比べて、キャラクターは優しい印象となっていました。
